About the Pieces

BEYOND THE MOUNTAIN
A reimagining of the Malaysian legend Puteri Gunung Ledang, recast as a short audio piece. Multiple languages (Malay, Chinese, Bengali, Sanskrit, Tamil) and layered musical soundscapes weave together dramatic scenes, questioning sovereignty, sacrifice, and agency.

NOOR AND THE FALLEN SON
When a midnight ritual to chase away jinn wakes her neighbour Daniel, Noor sparks a connection that burns through superstition, desire, and generational curses. This is a contemporary love story that plays with myth, fire and the shadow of the Iblis.
