Welcome to the Last Thursday Club! A monthly evening of storytelling on – you guessed it – the last Thursday of every month.
Hosted by acclaimed writer-performers Roann Hassani McCloskey and James Rowland.
A gay Arab and a Viking-looking fella (both award-winning storytellers) invite you to an uplifting night celebrating one of the most human things we do: connecting through stories.
What to expect
An evening of brilliant, true storytelling from performers across theatre, comedy and beyond – plus two open mic spots for anyone brave enough to jump in and share a story of their own.
Think: the warmth and joy of swapping stories with friends in your living room… but now there’s a mic, two excellent hosts and a slightly longer walk home at the end of the night.
Last Thursday Club is coming to Manchester!
After five years of storytelling in London, Last Thursday Club is adding Manchester to the mix. Join us for its Manchester premiere on Thursday 24th September from 7pm at Grounded Café, Cringle Park, Manchester.
Hosted by Roann Hassani McCloskey and James Rowland, the night will feature three guest storytellers and open mic spots for anyone ready to share a story of their own. Guest storytellers will be announced soon.
To mark the occasion, tickets for this first Manchester edition are completely free, so advance booking is strongly encouraged as spaces are limited.
