A Tamasha and Theatre Royal Stratford East co-production

Time Out

HOUSE OF THE SUN follows the inhabitants of a block of flats in Bombay. They are Sindhi refugees, who fled Sindh at the time of partition. Now, in 1991, a second generation has grown up, hypnotised by the bright lights of Bombay and beyond, rebelling against a generation desperate to hold on to the old ways.

Adapted from the novel by Meira Chand.
