Hear Me Now: Audition Monologues for Actors of Colour (Volume 2)

Edited by Titilola Dawudu in partnership with Tamasha

HEAR ME NOW (Volume Two) is a unique collection of over 100 brand new audition monologues written by and for actors and writers who are from the global majority and who are deaf and disabled from the global majority.

Following the overwhelming success of Volume One in 2018, this anthology sees the coming together of ten theatres and regions from across England, as well as 100 actors, 50 writers, five dramaturgs, 10 facilitators, signers, access workers, audio engineers and directors.

‘HEAR ME NOW has been an absolute blessing as a resource for artists and students of the Global Majority… It has removed another barrier for them to get into the industry.’ – Alix Harris, Artistic Director of Beyond Face Theatre

Published by Bloomsbury, HEAR ME NOW (Volume Two) has been produced by writer-producer Titilola Dawudu and Tamasha Theatre Company.

To celebrate the launch of Volume Two, we’re taking the book on tour with a host of celebratory events up and down the country. Join us at events across the UK for dynamic evenings of sparkling new writing and performance.
