Zoom in on Stage One x Tamasha

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT! To add your name to the waiting list, please email enquiries@stageone.uk.com

The role of producer is a key position in moving projects and productions forward, yet so many producers “accidentally” find themselves doing the job.

In the current post-pandemic economic climate, with funding and grants increasingly competitive, people are looking at alternative, more sustainable, ways to create their shows. Commercial Theatre companies are also keen to be more inclusive in their offices to fully support the increasingly diverse stories that are coming to the British stages.

During this lunch time zoom workshop, Stage One and Tamasha collaborate to introduce Stage One to Global Majority creatives interested in producing.

Stage One has supported theatre producers for nearly 50 years through educational programmes and investment schemes. Acknowledging the need for better representation in the theatre industry, Stage One created the Bridge The Gap programme to support the producers from communities traditionally underrepresented in the theatre industry.

Through a short presentation and interactive chat and Q&A, you can discover how Stage One can support your projects and/or producing career.

Hosted by Stage One, with guest speakers Sarah Verghese (Producer, Stage One Bridge the Gap Alumni) and Harris Albar (Tamasha General Manager, Stage One Bridge the Gap Alumni).

Tune in from 1pm on Thursday 11 April.
